Inven.tory Outlet Summer 2009
Inven.tory is hands-down my favorite clothing store in Manhattan. Why? 'Cuz they carry all my favorite brands at totally reasonable prices, plus they have a sick vintage section.
Inven.tory definitely gets the RWK stamp of approval.

Guess what rich kids of America, tomorrow is free Slurpee Day at all 7-Eleven locations in the US of A!
As exciting as this news is, I don't give a frack because I live in New York and here 7-Eleven don't exist.
Boo. I want a free Slurpee! :)
Here are some fun Slurpee facts:
- Winnipeg, Canada is generally thought to be the Slurpee capital of the world, due to their amazing Slurpee fanaticism.
- At Slurpee, we call it a BrainFreeze. The scientific name for it is Sphenopalatine Ganglioneuralgia. Really.
- American Slurpee is injected with air. Canadian Slurpee is not.
- Every day more than 11.6 million Slurpee drinks are consumed around the world.
- Only one private individual owns a bona fide Slurpee machine. The rest are in 7-Eleven.

Recently I had the good fortune to get a special look at a completely original song by two new & young artists. I've posted it here, along with their original artwork, for your listening pleasure.
The track's overall style, along with the singer's voice, reminds me of a favorite band of mine Uh Huh Her. Take a listen to their track below, "Away from here", and tell me if I'm crazy.
As for the first track, "Waiting" by Kate & Calder, I am impressed by its overall production quality and find its sound appealing. The only thing that disturbs me is the artwork. Though I hesitate to pass judgment on any kind of art, I don't feel like it lives up to the quality of the music. Though that's just one opinion.
For more info on Kate & Calder check out their blog.
