Everyday I receive the top headlines from a handful of major news organizations delivered straight to my email inbox. For a long time I used to only subscribe to the NY Times daily newsblast but recently I decided I need to diversify a bit more. I now peruse the headlines from NY Times, LA Times, NPR, and BBC World. These coupled with the numerous blogs I have in Google Reader and it's safe to say that I sift through a lot of information on a daily basis.
Below is a list of the most recent news articles I've found interesting, o sea, my news digestive:
- First Gay Couple in Boyband Music Video [BBC]
- How 10 Famous Technology Products Got Their Names [CIO]
- Proposition 8 supporters vent frustration over continued protests [LAT]
- Darkness at Dusk (op-ed) [NYT]
- A Holiday to End All Wars [NYT]
- An open letter to those who voted for Obama (blog) [MOG]
- Zac Sunderland, solo teen sailor, discovers perils of the high seas [LAT]
- Secret Order Lets U.S. Raid Al Qaeda [NYT]
- The law and Prop. 8 [LAT]
On the side bar of this blog (right over there --> ) is a little widget called Curious Stuff. It is regularly updated with interesting posts that pop-up in my Google Reader. Also over there on the right is my blogroll which lists my fave blogs.
Happy reading :)
